I painted these two discus fish as a mirrored pair, swimming toward each other. Their round bodies are covered in a fine maze of light mint green and soft peach lines, with grey-toned fins and tails, all on a clean white background.
As fish wall art they bring a fresh but gentle touch to a living room above a white sofa, a bedroom, a dining area or a bright bathroom. The light green goes well with linen, rattan, light wood and a few sage or pale blue cushions, and the two fish look best hung side by side.
Each print is made to order in my studio, and you can still see the soft edges and layers of the original watercolor.
